Titanium heat shields/shims?
« on: September 13, 2014, 11:03:20 am »
Has anybody used these on a Legends car?
I don't see much need on dirt for our cars, although I know some sprint car and midget drivers that use them, but wondering if any asphalt or road course guys use them.

Can't figure out what would keep shields from slipping out of place.
I have the Wilwood front brakes.
Seems like it would have been better if they had the two outer holes and not just the center hole. (picture with shield in front of pad)
The retainer clip does not go through the center hole.
Kind of hard to see in this picture but here is a pic where the shield could slip out next to rotor

Any help would be appreciated!
