clutch issue

I changed out clutch slave cylinder,,, shift into gear can feel it shift but car sits,,, I can roll the car freely while its in gear,,, anyone have an idea

Don't know if its an inner problem,,, did change out some bad clutch plates also,,, should the slave cylinder have some movement.
