Squaring rearend?

Is it possible on a brand new chassis to square the rearend off off the chassis vertical bars in front and behind the housing?

no.  those bars are never in the chassis perfect.  Use the front suspension as your guide.  use the front shock towers.  Measure to the end of the front clip and make sure that they are the same length.  If so put a bar on your front bumper and use the wheel base gauge.  This allows you to square with the car on the scales so you know everything is level.

A bar that I am going to make extends from the front shock towers to a bar out front.
