No offense to anyone... But please read the rule book before purchasing a race car of any sort. I have been reading a lot of posts on other sites and Facebook pages; Some people are unaware that there are rules for different sanctioning bodies. This is a great sport and a hell of a lot of fun!!! But before shelling out a ton of money, know what you are getting in to. Used cars can be a good purchase... But be aware that they may need updates or parts to make them legal for the track, or sanctioning body, that you will be racing at. We have several good threads on purchasing a used Bando or Legends car. Please take the time to read them. Also; Take a few minutes to read over the current rule book.
