Has anyone run with a uncut RR tire on a 3/8 banked circle track?

Uncut tires work... Just not as well as a cut tire on pavement. Uncut tires can tend to chunk out (tear up) the tire tread. If you are looking at a speed gain; Get a cut tire. If you are still in the learning curve, it will likely work for now.

Another thing about uncut tires, at least from seeing them used in the pro class at atlanta is that they can run a few quick laps (not as quick as uncut), then tend to slow down (maybe heat related). You are instantly disadvantaging yourself if using an uncut tire.

Thanks....I was thinking more for longevity. I am a one man show so I watch my costs. I keep an eye on my tires and try to make them last as long as I can. Because the RR take so much abuse, I was curious how long a uncut tire would last.
